Winter Swap 2007

You are invited to the North Idaho's largest winter sports equipment and clothing event featuring thousands of new and used winter sports items being sold by both individuals and area winter sports stores.  Equipment, clothing and accessories for all winter sports are available, including: alpine skiing, snowboarding, nordic and telemark skiing.  The annual event has become the premier event to kick-off of the winter season in North Idaho.  The “Swap” is the primary source of funding for the Lookout Pass and Silver Mountain volunteer ski patrols.

 To Shop:

Admission $4.00 - kids under 12 are free
Saturday November 3rd 9 AM - 3 PM - the line starts early!
Cash, Credit cards, Debit Cards, and personal checks are accepted

 To sell items:

Friday, November 2nd, 3 - 8 PM

Bring your items to the fairgrounds, clean and in good condition. We will only be accepting "shaped" downhill/alpine skis on consignment as the older "straight skis" do not sell well.  All ski bindings must be DIN approved.  All winter sports items are welcome: skis, snowboards, boots, clothing, etc.

Tags and registration sheets are available to the public at local Ski Shops to allow pre-tagging before the public check-in.  This should speed up the public check-in on Friday.  Beginning Monday October 29th, tags and instructions may be picked up at a number of local ski shops including MooseCamp Sports in Coeur d’Alene and Ski Shack in Hayden.

 To pick up checks/unsold items:

All unsold items must be picked up on Sunday, November 4th, from 9 AM to Noon at the fairgrounds. In addition, consignees need to pick up their checks for items that sold at that time as well. (any unclaimed merchandise will be donated)

For Commercial Exhibitors:

In 2007 we are continuing to have our “Vendor Fair Building” with a number of the ski areas from the region Taking Season Pass pictures, selling season passes, and showing/talking about their improvements for the coming season.  A number of other exhibits will display snow sports gear and other items of interest to winter sports enthusiasts.  The Winter Swap is the premier “kick off event” for winter season in North Idaho and generates extensive publicity throughout the region. Thousands of items of winter sporting goods and clothing are offered for sales to the public and on an average the swap brings in over 2,000 shoppers during the sales event at the North Idaho Fairgrounds. Booth space is limited and companies or individuals interested in exhibiting their product or services at the 9th annual Winter Swap should send a brief description via e-mail to: Vendor Fair Coordinator
